The Open Channel

Wonder, Play, Explore

A six-week live experience to rediscover what lights you up, and begin living from that place.

A note before we begin

Welcome

This isn't an "About Me" video. It's the first experience of The Open Channel. An invitation. A deep breath. A feeling of being received.

3 minutes, 59 seconds. Sound on if you can.

When you're ready, keep going.

I'm so glad you're here.

Something in you brought you here.
Maybe you know exactly what it is.

Something in your work or life no longer feels right.
You're tired of pushing through.
You know something needs to change,
but you can't quite see what comes next.

Or maybe nothing is obviously wrong.
You've built a good life.
You've been capable. Responsible.
The person who figures things out and gets things done.

And still, somewhere underneath all of that,
you have a quiet sense that there is more.

  • More of you
  • More aliveness
  • More freedom
  • More delight
  • More meaningful connection
  • More trust in yourself
  • More room for something you've been longing to create

You may not even have words for it yet.
That's okay.

Before you try to figure it out

Try this now

Take an expansive, deep breath in.
And open your mouth and let out a long, extended exhale.
Feel your shoulders soften.
Allow your jaw to loosen.
Notice your body settling, even just a little.

There is nothing to figure out right now.
Nothing to solve.
Simply an invitation to become curious about what wants to emerge.

I believe every one of us carries a stunning capacity
for creativity, intuition, love, and wisdom.

Not as qualities we need to earn.
As qualities that already live within us.

And I believe the world needs each of us
in our fullest expression.

Sometimes those qualities feel close.
And sometimes the noise and responsibility of everyday life
becomes so loud that we can no longer hear them.

The Open Channel was created as a place
to hear yourself again.

Not to reinvent yourself.
Not to give you another thing to do.
But to create the conditions where more of who you already are
can naturally emerge.

Because when we give ourselves that kind of space,
something begins to soften.
Something begins to open.

And little by little,
we remember.

Longing Is a Trailhead

What if your longing isn't a sign that something is missing?
What if it's an invitation?

A trailhead, calling you forward.
Toward something left unexpressed within you
that will create beauty and fulfillment in your life.

The place where something deep within us quietly whispers

This way.

Your longing won't give you a map.
It certainly doesn't come packaged in a five-year plan.

Simply the urge to take the next step.
The next breath.
The next honest conversation.
The next small act of courage.

Longing doesn't demand certainty.
It simply asks us to become curious enough to begin exploring.

That's what we'll do together.

I also know this

You don't need more to do.
Another book to read.
Another way to improve yourself.
And certainly not another block on your already full calendar.

I created The Open Channel for this moment.

Not as another self-improvement program.
Not as six more weeks of trying harder.

But as a place where you can set everything down for a little while.
A place to take a deep breath,
and sigh it out.

Where no one is asking you to have the answers.
Where you don't have to perform.
Or produce.
Or become someone else.

Where you can simply arrive.

This Is an Experience

The Open Channel is an experience.
We'll spend six weeks exploring together.

There won't be a PowerPoint.
I won't be talking at you.
We won't be simply talking or trying to think our way into aliveness.

We'll explore it through

  • The wisdom of the body
  • The breath
  • Presence
  • Spirit
  • Play
  • Curiosity
  • Wonder
  • Reflection
  • Conversation
  • Rest

We'll explore what feels alive.
We'll rediscover our capacity for wonder.
We'll listen for what has been quietly asking for our attention.

We'll experiment.
We'll laugh.
We'll be surprised.
We'll learn from our own experience.
And from one another.

Because there is something profoundly transformative
about being in a room with people who are exploring
these longings with you.

People who are brave enough to pause.
To listen.
To explore.
To remember.

The Open Channel is intentionally small. Just twelve people.

To make it personal, intimate and meaningful.
We will cocreate something that has become increasingly rare.

A space where people feel seen.
Where connection has room to grow.
Where we can recognize ourselves in one another.
Where we remember that we were never meant to do this alone.

Why The Open Channel?

For many of us, life has slowly become organized around responsibility.

There are people to care for.
Work to do.
Bills to pay.
Calendars to manage.
Dreams we quietly place on a shelf because now isn't the right time.

None of this happens overnight.
It happens one small accommodation at a time.

Until one day we notice something difficult to explain.

Life works. But somehow, it doesn't quite feel like ours anymore.

We've become so practiced at responding
to everyone and everything around us,
that we've stopped responding to ourselves.

The Open Channel is an invitation to gently reverse that.

Not by leaving your life behind.
But by returning to yourself within it.
By learning to hear your own inner knowing again.
By creating a life that feels more deeply aligned
with who you truly are.

A Different Way

Radha Heartwell sitting by the water

Most of us have been taught that lasting change begins in the mind.

Understand yourself.
Analyze the pattern.
Learn the strategy.
Think differently.
Try harder.

My own experience has been very different.

The deepest changes in my life didn't happen
because I thought my way into them.

They happened because I slowed down.
Because I learned to listen.
To trust the quiet intelligence of my body.

I became available to wonder again.
To play again.
I made space for delight.
To follow what my heart knew, long before my mind did.
Before my mind rushed in with reasons why it couldn't be.

For more than twenty years I've had the privilege of watching this same unfolding happen in hundreds of people.

Again and again I've witnessed something beautiful.

Transformation doesn't always arrive through striving.
Sometimes it arrives through presence.
Through relationship.
Through laughter.
Through rest.
Through vulnerable conversation.
Through giving ourselves permission to experience life differently.

Delight and aliveness are the pathways to how transformation happens.

Our Time Together

Each week we'll gather live in a small circle.
Together we'll create the conditions for something new to emerge.

Using embodied practices, guided inner listening, breath, reflection, conversation, play, rest and experiential exploration, we'll gently reconnect with the parts of ourselves that often become buried beneath the pace of everyday life.

Together we'll explore

What makes you come alive

What brings you delight and play

Your longings

What limits your aliveness

Creating space to cultivate new possibilities

Deep connection to yourself and others

We step into these as lived experience.

Because there is a profound difference
between understanding something,
and knowing it in your bones.

This Is For You If

  • You have a quiet sense that life holds more than you've been experiencing.
  • You long for greater freedom.
  • You long for more meaningful connection.
  • You long for deeper trust in yourself.
  • You long for a life that feels more congruent with who you are.
  • You sense there is something within you waiting to be expressed.

And you don't need to arrive prepared

You don't need experience with embodiment.
Or meditation.
Or intuition.
Or personal growth.

You don't need to know exactly what you're looking for.

Only a willingness to become curious about what is already waiting within you.

A Personal Note

For more than twenty years, I thought I was walking two different paths.

One was outward.
I built businesses.
Led creative companies.
Designed products that found their way into millions of homes.
Helped organizations grow, evolve, and eventually sell.
Supported hundreds of people in becoming entrepreneurs
and fulfilling their dreams.

The other path was deeply personal.

It led me into yoga studios, retreat centers, coaching programs, healing trainings, intuitive development, and years of learning to listen to the quiet wisdom beneath the noise.

For a long time those worlds seemed separate.
Until I realized they had been teaching me the very same thing.

Whether we're creating a company,
a relationship,
a new season of life,
or simply learning to trust ourselves again,
everything begins the same way.

By becoming more fully who we already are.

Today my two paths have become one.

The Open Channel is the space I wish someone had invited me into years ago.

A place where depth and delight belong together.
Where we can be wholehearted and playful.
Grounded and expansive.
Tender and joyful.

A place where we remember that becoming more ourselves
doesn't have to feel heavy.

It can feel like coming home.
I'd be honored to welcome you.

An Invitation

Before you decide,
come back to that first breath.

One more time

Take one more.
Let your shoulders soften.
Relax your jaw.
Notice what has shifted since you first arrived here.

Then, instead of asking what you think,
take another deep breath and notice what your body already knows.

Listen for what your heart has been quietly whispering.

Yes.

Trust that.

I'd love to explore what wants to come alive with you.

Let's Begin

Six weeks. Twelve people. Beginning September 9.

Signs More Is Asking to Come Forward

Sometimes we feel the longing but can't quite put a finger on it. See if any of these land.

You wake up and it's already Friday again, and you can't remember what happened this week. You really want to do something fun this weekend, but you end up ordering in and crashing on the couch. Then it's Monday again.

You go on vacation and by the end of the week you feel inspired. You're going to go home and start the writing practice, the exercise program, the job search, the business, the book. By Tuesday, the longing has vanished.

You feel at your edge. A little bit of a short fuse with family or coworkers. You can't handle much more.

You have the Sunday scaries. You're dreading the week, the schedule, the whole thing.

There's a business you've always wanted to start, a book you've wanted to write, a trip you've wanted to take. Years go by without any movement.

You have a "blah" feeling. Not once in a while. More often than not. A little dull, or stuck, or stifled.

You know you want to live into something bigger for yourself, and you have a big story about why you can't. Money. Time. Skills.

Pause here

Take a moment to feel into that.
What is happening in your body?
